First things first, don’t stress about paid subscribers or conversion rates until you’ve reached at least 200-300 free subscribers. Focus on building your audience first.
If you’ve been on Substack for less than six months, keep prioritizing growth. If it’s been longer, it might be time to start developing your paid strategy.
There are a few reasons why I am saying this. One of them is that you should build up trust first, which takes time. It’s like you are building a relationship with your readers and ANY relationship takes time to develop.
Credibility and trust take time to build. There’s no shortcut for that.
