Great Insights Claudia! I am little surprised by substack algorithm prioritization on paid contents but it is expected, so no complaints. I might write and share my experiences as a free content to all the community as long as I can.
I love having a mix of both. Think of your paid subscribers as warm leads. If they already trust you enough to pay for your content, they could easily buy your products. They become your true fans.
I'm definitely working on a mix. I don't have any paid subs yet, but I'm hoping to get at least a few in the next month or so. Or my whole plan for March will fail 😅ðŸ˜
Thanks for sharing
very welcome :)
I want to learn how to write newsletters.

it’s only an assumption - nothing confirmed. but I personally believe that they will increase that as well
Thank you for this post.
you are very welcome :)
Could you write about paid sponsorships sometime in the future? I want to explore these, but I'm unsure how to pursue. Thanks!
hi there, sure! do you mean as in getting companies/advertisement to pay you for a placement?
Thanks for this Claudia. I must ask, is the 41,000 days poll a strategic choice or a statement?
hah, good question! it's just the only open-ended option that Substack gives as this point :D
Thank you for sharing this advice, Claudia. I'm thinking of a mix between the two for myself as the best way to go.
I think that’s a good way to start!
I would love to learn how that 1500$/month is split between paid subscription and other form of income.
good question! I might write about that soon :)
Just turned on paid option for 2025. First one came in the other day. Patience and persistence are my intentions. Thanks for sharing your experience.
amazing, congrats! patience is a great skill here on Substack
