Fabulous information! I had heard to use notes, but wasn't sure how to access it until recently. Haven't started chat yet. As far as monetising, I have difficulty being brave enough to ask for it. I'm not sure what I can give paid customers.
So helpful!! Considering I’ve only been on Substack for about four months now, I find this post so absolutely practical and helpful. And I love the idea of reaching out to my subscribers and checking in with them via the chat. Brilliant! Thank you!
I definitely am beginning to see how writing quality alone is not enough. I have been neglecting Note and Chat till recently. Thanks for a good summary!
I've been reading others saying similar things. I know I'm late on this one but I've been saving yours for when I'm sitting at my computer and ready to implement what you're writing about. ❤️ You've already helped with the other ones I've read of yours, and your steps are so easy to follow.
Loved reading this... so easy and effective to implement! I think a key take away is also consistency of course. Atomic habits build energy over time... and the quality of being conscious and writing from the heart is also vital. Thanks for sharing Claudia :)
I guess, first. Do you have any articles already up on using Chats effectively? Do you normally use it in conjunction with a publication? How to initiate participation / conversation? Etc
Thank you Claudia. This was a great share of knowledge. Engaging reading with the right sized hook. I’m still working out what I have to offer in terms of a newsletter. But I have been working on my ideas for notes. Thanks for your continued advice and value.
Thank you for sharing this, Claudia. Notes are a cool feature, and I like that they added long form too. They took the coolest aspects of X and made them more accessible.
Great tips. Thank you so much. I do find notes have been helpful in getting my work noticed. And I sincerely love connecting and offering genuine support to others with or without reciprocity. I'm sure it comes back around.

thank you, Rose! happy to brainstorm a bit with you on that whenever you are ready :)
Thanks for the tip -- I had NO IDEA how to use Chat, but 1:1 sounds less scary to start.
:)🙌 glad it helps!
Love this thank you! I'm brand new and was still trying to work out how chat works best!
wonderful, glad it helps! :)
